# Token Sustainability

Our tokenomics and incentive structure are designed with an emphasis on token utility. Specifically, it is important that we build an ecosystem where the demand for REPT outpaces the supply.

To do this we've split stakeholders in our ecosystem into two broad categories. We have stakeholders that:

1. Produce value - these stakeholders earn REPT in the ecosystem
   * These stakeholders earn REPT in the ecosystem for adding value. For example a biohacker that creates an experiment, or one that runs an experiment and shares their data are examples of stakeholders adding value into the ecosystem. Other ways of adding value into the ecosystem are by governing the protocol, supporting community members etc.
2. Consume value
   * These stakeholders consumer value built by the producers. For example, a health insurer looking to reduce the cost of mental health, may access mental health experiment datasets at a REPT price determined by the community.
   * People want to know what makes them better over and above what is better in general. As we gather more data, coupled with genomic insights, Reputable is well positioned to predict which experiments are most beneficial to a person based on their genetic disposition and lifestyle. A dashboard with personalized recommendations on the best experiments to optimize your health can be purchased with REPT tokens.
